Piotr Marek Organa

Piotr will be missed dearly by his son, Peter (Samara), former wife, Margaret, and his favourite puppy, Bowie. Piotr was born in Poland, where he served time in the military (much to his chagrin), and eventually went on to teach photography. Upon learning that the Soviets were about to close Poland's borders, Piotr escaped Poland with his wife and infant son. They moved to Austria briefly before finally moving to Canada in 1983. Piotr worked for many years as large format photo printer before opening his own pet photography studio. Piotr's unique photographic style captured the essence at the heart of the animals. When you look at his photos, the faces you look at seem almost human. His photos were his life's work and, along with his son, his greatest pride.
