Rachael “Cherrie” Pengson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 23, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 68.
Born in Manila, Philippines on October 20, 1955, Rachael was a graduate of Fine Arts at University of Santo Tomas. She worked as an interior designer and a liaison officer. She enjoys cooking and baking, always eager to try out new recipes or perfect her favorite ones. Gardening too, is a hobby she loves, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing plants and watching them thrive. Besides her hands-on activities, she's drawn to the world of films and art, appreciating the creativity and stories they offer. Whether it's getting lost in a movie or admiring artwork, she values the escape and insight these experiences provide.
Rachael was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, grace, and unwavering optimism touched the lives of countless individuals.
Throughout her life, Rachael exemplified resilience in the face of adversity. Despite the challenges posed by her illness, she remained steadfast in her positivity, inspiring those around her with her indomitable spirit.
