Raymond Joseph Ernest Bergeron
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dad, brother, uncle, and friend, Raymond Bergeron Jr. Raymond passed peacefully Sunday August 7th, 2022 at the age of 66 after an extended stay at the Ottawa General Hospital. We send our appreciation to the team at the General campus. Born in Ottawa on May 18th, 1956 to Lilianne (St-Denis) Bergeron and Raymond Bergeron Sr., Ray had an entrepreneurial spirit and ran a family painting company as well as being part owner of the Cue Café. He lived in Ottawa and prior to retirement worked at the House of Commons. Ray loved his city and was well known by neighbours and friends, always willing to help someone out whenever he could. Ray leaves behind his children Piper Shambare Bergeron, Michael Shambare Bergeron, Elizabeth Bergeron (Alex McLean), Amanda Bergeron (Marilyn Aston), his brothers Denis Bergeron (Monique), Java Bergeron, Jean Bergeron, mothers to his children Melinda Shambare and Dianne (Lalonde) Paquette, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his sister Linda Bergeron Wright (Paul) and his brother Michel Bergeron. Raymond will be laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery. Details for the memorial service will be announced at a later date.
