At 3:15 pm, August 8, 2024, Raymond Grover Galbraith took his last breath on earth. He is now resting in peace in Heaven. He waited for his closest family members to visit that morning, to say one last goodbye.
For the past 2 years he battled cancer and was determined to live to 100. He was stubborn and strong willed.
He was the father of Kathlyn Ordinario Galbraith, Larry Galbraith and Donald Galbraith. He was the son of Mary-Belle Galbraith and Robert Galbraith.
Passing at the age of 91, he was the last and eldest male to survive of his siblings and leaves his youngest sister Norma Jean Essex behind.
He also leaves behind many friends and family, which he often spoke of fondly.
He had a love for horses, that would make him shine bright, often recalling growing up and working the family farm in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario.
He lived a long life, from taking care of his family, to working in the Canadian Artic.
His strong work ethic is what got him so far in life. He loved working with cars and on heavy trucks and machinery.
He didn't wish to have a memorial service after his passing. He was strong willed and determined to live a long, full life, and he did.
He is finally at peace and will be remembered fondly by everyone his life touched.
We love you Dad, forever.
