Raymond Ivan Guthrie

GUTHRIE, Raymond Ivan – Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Grove Park Home, Barrie, on Friday, February 19th, 2021 in his 95th year. Ray will be fondly remembered and missed by his wife Bernice (Stubby), children; Ron (Judy) of Barrie, Don “Beaver” (Vicky) of Barrie, Dianne Ierullo (Dominic) of Toronto, and Allan of Barrie. Loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren and special great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Norman (Mort), sisters Edith and Edna and sons Ron and Beaver. Ray will be missed by his loyal companion of 16 years, BG (Border Collie), he always enjoyed and will be remembered for fixing cars, driving, country music, cigarettes, having a sweet tooth, magic tricks and his love for dogs.  A celebration of life may be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Grove Park Home.
