Raymond Patrick Kelly, (80), of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 08, 2023.

Raymond, fondly known as "Papa" was born to Albert and Florence Kelly on May 03, 1943, in Toronto, Ontario. He was a talented dancer and the life of every party. He could always be found on the dance floor. He was always ready to have a good time with his colleagues, friends, and family. He could always be counted on to celebrate any event because Papa believed that all of life should be celebrated.

Papa is survived by his wife Patricia, four children, Mark, Bryan, Leanne, and Jennifer and five grandchildren, Kirsten, Conor, Sophia, Ellie & Joshua. Papa was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Florence.

Papa fought a long battle against cancer. Despite spending much time in and out of the hospital, he never lost his sense of humor and positive outlook on life. Throughout his entire journey, he cracked jokes with his grown children, played hide-and-seek with his grandchildren, and was always the kindest human being to his nurses. He always had a positive attitude and a bright views for the future, right till the very end.  His ability to make others smile and his sense of humor will truly be missed.

Those who knew him absolutely adored him. He was a loving and devoted husband, a caring and giving father, and a friend that any man would be blessed to have. His grandchildren always looked forward to his visits and will miss the colouring competitions that he always took part in. The endless games of hide-and-seek and the dancing competitions that they would have.

He will leave behind a gaping void as we miss him tremendously, however, his kind heart and gentle soul will live on in the memories that he has created with his family and friends. To know him was truly to love him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
