Raymond Malcolm Little

March 27, 1939 — January 13, 2025

Malcolm passed away at home in the care of his family after a long illness.

Malcolm was born under the caul in Southsea, England, the eldest child of Raymond and Dorothea. He came to Canada ahead of his family in 1958. He met and married Marjorie in 1967 while attending GMI in Flint, Michigan. He worked at GMC for many years, followed by short stints at Chrysler, Ford and AMC before he found his second career in facilities management as Controller at the City of York Board of Education, later to become the TDSB.

In retirement, Malcolm’s interest in sailing brought him great joy. He was an active member at EYC, serving as Commodore from 2010-2011, and indulging in his passion for racing. Malcolm also helped others enjoy the sport by brokering many transactions for Swan’s Yacht Sales customers. In this role, he traveled widely and made many friends.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Marjorie, daughter Adrienne (Yvette), son Joshua (Tina), his grandchildren Jordan and Val, his sister Margaret (Alex), his brothers Robert (Carole), Mark, Keith (Denise) and his many friends.

There is no funeral planned, but we would love it if you shared your memories, pictures or videos with us in his guestbook.

Special thanks to Dorothy Ley Hospice for their incredible support throughout this end of life journey. If desired, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to this organization in Malcolm’s memory.

May the tide bring you swiftly home, where hearts await, and love abounds.
