Reine Samné Dahrouge

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother Reine Dahrouge. Mom, a widow at 33, immigrated to Canada with her children Alfred 8 and Simone 7 whom she raised alone with love and the strength that comes from faith and dedication. Her adult children and their children were devout supporters of this strong and proud woman, and she showered her grandchildren Adrienne, Katie, Ryan, Jonathan and Brenden with unconditional love and compassion. She was fortunate to meet her great-grandchildren Jackson (Jonathan and Melody) and Everett (Katie and Genny).

We feel privileged to have had the honour to serve her well in her later years and we are thankful for the support, emotional and otherwise, you have given her and us during these difficult last years. In keeping with mom’s wishes, we will have a gathering of our immediate family to celebrate her life and commemorate her at a church service on Sunday April 10th at 10:00. We invite you to think of this remarkable woman at that time, from wherever you are, and honor her life with the ritual you choose.
