Richard Fournier

Our beloved son, Richard Fournier, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 56 on Remembrance Day, November 11, 2021. We, his parents, Ray and Colette Fournier, will remember him forever for the laughter and joy he brought to our lives. Rick is survived by his wife, Dawn, and his children, Olivia and Cole, whom he adored. He leaves behind his three sisters, Lise (Alain Séguin – predeceased), Denise (Marc Portugaise), and Nathalie (Ken Norman), who will think of him always. Rick will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Those who knew Rick knew him to be a wonderful, caring person with a fun-loving personality. He wanted to give joy and make people smile. Rick poured his heart into his work as a CPA and enjoyed mentoring others. One of his greatest joys was coaching baseball. He showed children to love the sport as much as he did. Rick was never without his contagious smile and always had a joke up his sleeve to make you laugh when you needed it.

In place of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in Rick’s name to a charity of your choice. He would have wanted that. Rick’s life may have been cut short, but his lasting memory will remain with us and all those he touched forever.
