Richard (Rick) Kane

It is with the deepest and most profound sadness that our family announces the sudden and tragic death of Rick, age 51, on April 24, 2017.

Husband of Christine (Tina), and proud father of India. Son of William and Judy Kane of Lakefield, Ontario. Predeceased by his mother Caldine, sister Charlene, and most recently his beloved bulldog Bubba.

Long time employee of Community Living Toronto, he dedicated his working life to supporting those with intellectual disabilities.

Proud “Beacher” and member of the Balmy Beach Club, he could be found on the rugby pitch, the squash courts, or enjoying a pint at the bar with his many friends.

Cremation has taken place. Please join Rick’s friends and family in a celebration of a life not yet fulfilled. The dress is casual and there will be no formal ceremony. We hope you will share fond memories, great stories and raise a glass in honour of the late, great Stitch.
