Richard William Osborn

Peacefully at The Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday September 19, 2022 in his 74 year as a result of a heart attack and complications. Beloved husband of Sybil Osborn of 54 years. Father of Sybil, Michael (Mellisa), and Russell.  Predeceased by his parents Jean Dempster, Richard Osborn and his late sister Brenda Osborn. He leaves behind his brothers James Osborn (Lesley) and Donald Osborn.  Will be missed by his grandchildren April, Jessey, Logan, Lucas and his great grandchild Kieran, Amanda (late) and many nieces and nephews and extended family & friends. Richard spent his career working for Weston Bakery. After his retirement he was able to enjoy his many hobbies. Over the years he was a hunter, golfer and belonged to many clubs from homing pigeons, remote cars and boats. His passion in life was model trains, where you could find him in the basement with his layouts & trains or at many fairs and halls displaying his trains. The family would like to thank The Ottawa Heart Institute nurses, doctors and staff for the great care and compassion.  A Celebration of Life and burial will be held at a later date. Donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation are appreciated by the family.
