PAQUETTE, RICHARD ANTHONY, passed away suddenly of natural causes at home on January 23rd, 2018 in his 54th year. Loving husband of Claire, née Doucet and beloved father of Sonia and André Paquette. Brother of Brian Paquette (Monique). Beloved son of Rolande Paquette (Charlebois) and of the late Andrew Paquette. He will also be missed by his large extended family.
Rick worked at Nortel for 15 years and loved giving his high school students a hard time for the last 12 years as a teacher. He enjoyed being with family while camping and fishing. He introduced the love of music to André and was introduced to the love of cats by Sonia.
Rick was a proud cancer survivor and he never let it stop him from doing what he wanted as he expressed by saying F*ckLeCancer.
A celebration of life will be held on February 3rd, 2018 from 2pm to 6pm at Mouvement d'implication francophone d'Orléans (MIFO) 6600 Carrière St, Orléans ON K1C1J4.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rick's name to MADD, Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Cancer Society.
