Rita Cecchini

Cecchini, Rita (nee Bastianutti) - Born in Udine, Italy on September 20, 1932. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at home on Saturday April 17, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 88.  Beloved wife of Luciano. Loving mother of Phillip (Sara) and Albert.  Adored nonna of Ian, Lucas and Lia.  Dear sister of Giovanni in Italy and sister-in-law of Eva, the late Nino of Toronto and the late Dolores of Italy. Cherished aunt of Leonard (Irina), Adrian (Anh), Gina (Stefano) and Umberto.  Rita loved family, friends, music, travel, gardening and nature and she lived life with vigour and grace.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
