Rita Louise Grant

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Rita Louise Grant announce her passing on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at the Ottawa Heart Institute at the age of 79.

Predeceased by her loving husband Dennis Grant and her parents Louise Levac and Roger Miner. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her only son Scott (Korri) and cherished Nana of Emma. She is survived by her siblings Diane Wilson (Ralph), Paul Miner (Ross) and Ronald Miner (Patricia) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Brian Miner (Paulette), Gerry Miner, youngest sister Aline Nicholson (Michel) and her step-father Rosario Boudreau.

At the request of Rita, a private family burial will be held on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 at 10:00am.

All family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life for Rita at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 616 (377 Allbirch Road) in Constance Bay on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the MS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
