Robert Banas. Jr.

Beloved son of Robert Banas, Sr. and Carolyn Miceli, Robert passed away suddenly on February 24, 2013 in Elmhurst, Illinois at the age of 46. After dropping out of high school, he received his GED and graduated from Essex Community College in Maryland, where he grew up. He had a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa. Besides his parents, he is survived by sisters Valerie Runyon, Rosalie Banas, Deborah Banas and brother Michael Banas. Robert also had a large extended family which included numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were stepmother Linda Banas and brother Richard Banas. A memorial service is planned for March 16 at 1:00 p.m. Dundalk United Methodist Church 6903 Mornington Rd. Dundalk, Md.
