HARRIS, Robert John
Passed away in Ottawa on April 7th, 2017 in his 79th year. Will be fondly missed by his wife Lorna Harris and by his long time friend and the mother of his children, Louise Bell; his children Robert Harris (Susan), and Kim Enns (Kevin); his grandchildren Brandon Harris, Dalton Harris, Shaelynn Harris, and Vaughan Enns; and sister Diane Muldoon. Predeceased by his parents Robert Alexander Harris and Irene Minota Harris; sister Katherine Lee; and brother Gerry Harris.
Robert was a great father and a successful garage door businessman for more than 50 years, serving the city of Ottawa.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Friday April 14th from 1:00pm until 5:00pm at the Ottawa Legion (1940 Bank Street, Unit B, 613 236 1575). Interment will take place April 18th at Notre Dame Cemetery (455 Montreal Road) in Section 39, Lot 57 at 11:00am.
The family would like to thank Susan Harris, Diane Muldoon and all the great help from St. Elisabeth’s for an outstanding job keeping Bob comfortable and never alone during his final days. He will love you forever.
Should anyone wish to donate to a cause in his name, the family would appreciate the support to go to any palliative care or volunteer organization that can help the elderly or less fortunate.
