ROBERT WALTER LANGLEY
Nov. 5, 1954 - Sept. 16, 2015
Rob passed away after fighting the toughest, most courageous and heroic battle with cancer. May he finally rest in peace. Youngest son of his most beloved parents, Marjorie Langley and the late John G. Langley, Rob was the devoted husband to Piera and very proud father of Mitchell. He is also survived by his brothers Douglas (Shirray Auston) and John (Nancy Sinclair) and sisters Betty Jane Giles (Al) and Judy (Wilf Brousseau) and sister-in-law to Connie Mordini. He was a special and generous uncle to many nieces and nephews. Rob was also close with his cousins and a lifelong friend to many, especially Sarah Burnet-Smith and Gary Fincham.
Rob was an avid sports fan, music aficionado and voracious reader of all things current. Most of all, he was a family man through and through who taught us all the importance of looking forward and to look for the best in life.
We will miss him dearly, but his memory will live with us forever.
A private family interment will take place Oct. 5th at Little Lake Cemetery in Peterborough, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In his memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or St. Peters Hospital, Palliative Care Program, 88 Maplewood Ave., Hamilton, Ont. L8M 1W9 would be appreciated by the family.
