Robert Roy Middleton died peacefully in his home on October 6th, 2017, he was 81.
Roy was born on November 12, 1935 in Worksop, England. He joined the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers at 21 years of age and then immigrated to Canada in 1966 landing in Toronto for the second part of his life’s adventure and married Dorothy in 1969. In 1977 the family moved to Crysler, and bought Hay Day farms.
Roy survived by his wife Dorothy, his children David (Heather) Kevin (Monique) and Victoria (Martin) his grand children Melanie, Kaleb, Kirtus (Sarah), KC, and Kelly and his great grandchildren Trista, Olivia, and Piper. His twin brother, Ray (Pauline) his nieces and nephews John, (Julie), Andrew (Anna), Lynn, (Carl), Christian (Hayley), Adam, (Danielle), Owen, Jude and Sage.
A memorial will take place on October 18th 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Russell. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Roys life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Russell by sending a cheque to 139 Castor St, Russell, ON K4R 1C7.
