It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Peelar peacefully on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie Ontario in his 94th year. 

Beloved husband of the late Edith Peelar (nee Guthrie) for 55 years. Loving father of Robert (Robbie) Peelar and Paul Peelar and his wife Bethany of Barrie. Cherished grandfather to David , Cherie, Stephen and his wife Chrystal. Great grandfather to Logan, Emma, Arlo and Luna. Bob was born in Toronto, Ontario to parents Samuel and Elsie (nee Woods). Pre-Deceased by brothers Russell, Harry, Jack and sisters Dorothy, Ruth, Shirley. 

Bob worked for Canadian National Express for 40 years. After his retirement he enjoyed driving cars for dealerships. He was an avid bike rider and loved to go on walks. Never a person to be sitting still he always had to be doing something. 

Our family would like to thank Dr. Brian Morris, Syl Grenier, the Nurses from Bayshore Home Health, the Cancer Care and Palliative Care Team at Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion with Bob.
