Robert "Ian" Munro

December 8th, 1951 - October 23, 2019

Sometimes called Bob or Rob, but never by anyone who knew him, Ian was anxious to see his mum (Ruth), dad (Howie), and sister Liz again and left us unexpectedly early morning on October 23rd, 2019. Desperately sad at this early departure are his children (who knew Ian was always determined to go his own way) Jennifer and partner Mike White, and Charlie and wife Melissa. He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren Madison, Billy and Mikey. He was the undisputed best grandpa, hands down, no contest. Ian’s left behind siblings, Sandi, Anne and husband Rick, and David are hoping that Ian will continue the family tradition of always being “up to something” and keep mum, dad and Liz on their toes and guessing. Ian’s nieces and nephew Simon, Emma and Hannah will surely miss his warm hugs, loving smile and generous laugh. As will all those who knew and loved him. Keep smiling Ian, we’ll see you on the other side. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Jennett Funeral and Cremation Centre.
