Roderick Scott Robinson

December 30, 1963 — March 11, 2025

Milton, Ontario

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roderick Scott Robinson suddenly in his home in Milton, Ontario, on March 11, 2025.

Born December 30, 1963 in North Bay, Ontario, Scott was the beloved son of Irene Wilson (née Thompson) and Roderick Ronald Robinson. He grew up alongside his three brothers and, in 1968, the family moved to Streetsville, where he spent much of his childhood and early adult years.

Scott was predeceased by his parents, Rod and Irene, as well as his stepfather, Graham Wilson. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Susan (née Huck), and their daughters, Sadie (Brandon) and Pearl. He was a cherished brother to Myles (Mary Catherine), Marc, and Todd (Ana), and a stepbrother to the late Heather (Glenn) and Karen (Mike). A proud grandfather to Jack and Finn, he was also a caring uncle to twelve nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.

Scott will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends for his warm and welcoming nature, his larger than life personality, his deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, and his passion for all things. He found great fulfillment in farm life, surrounded by nature and animals, which brought him peace and purpose. Scott also had a deep love for Bobcaygeon, where he spent countless hours boating, fishing, and enjoying the water. The time he spent there brought him joy and was a reflection of his adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
