Ron Caley

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Caley, age 64 in the early morning hours of May 2nd, at Hospice Simcoe.

After a painful but courageous fight Ron succumbed to his battle with cancer.

While surrounded by loved ones, he was finally able to find peace.

Ron was loved by many extended family members, colleagues and friends.

Beloved husband of Julie, cherished father of daughter Jessica and late daughter Brittany and daughter-in-law Kahra. He was also a proud Papa of puppies Sadie and Rollo.

Born to Fernande Caley (nee Gosselin) and Robert Caley, brother to Deborah Wilson and Christopher Caley.

Ron was loved by all for his kind and generous nature, his humor and his handyman expertise.  He had a special gift of putting people at ease and making others feel noticed and special.

Although Ron had very little time to enjoy his retirement, he still enjoyed many family get-togethers.

With Ron, family always came first. He was conscientious in all of his endeavors and enriched the lives of all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Jennet Funeral Home, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie, (705)-722-6656 on Tuesday, May 16th between 1pm and 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Hospice Simcoe.
