Ronald Roland Edward Campbell

The Campbell family regret to inform you of the death of Ronald Roland Edward Campbell. After a lengthy battle with numerous health challenges, Ron passed away Friday October 18th, 2019, in Ottawa, at the age of 83 years old.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Roland and Marguerite Campbell, his brothers (Earl Campbell and Bruce Campbell), sisters (Shirley Baxter and Sandra Courtemanche) and nephew (Carl Courtemanche). He is survived by his sister Caroline Shepherd (Ken Shepherd), sister-in-law Pat Campbell, brothers-in-law John Baxter and Mario Courtemanche. He will be fondly remembered by nieces (Kimberly, Jody, Bonnie, Cathy, Jennifer, Julie-Ann), nephew (David), family and friends.
Ron lived a long life with numerous accomplishments across an eclectic mix of painting, sculpting, music, philosophy, design and athletics. He was inquisitive and expressed himself through his art. He had a creative and philosophical mind, a unique sense of style, and a desire to find answers to life's great mysteries. He will be missed.
The family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Carlingview Manor Long Term Care for their friendship and support to Ron.
A private graveside burial will take place at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery alongside Family members on Sunday, November 17th at 10:30am. Donations in Ron’s memory to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
