1963 ~ 2022
Suddenly at dawn on January 8, 2022 in Nepean at hospital, Ron at 58 years, left this world to join loved ones passed. Ron aka “Bam Bam”, loved the outdoors, fishing, golf, campfires, hockey, the North, and he could skate like the wind.
He is mourned and survived by many. His loving parents Mavis (nee Kidd), and predeceased by his father Jack K. O’Neil. His siblings Marlene, Dan, and Kelly (Steve) Tyrell and his faithful dog Buddy.
He is survived by amazing children near and afar – Samuel & Jaclyn (“Jax”), Katie & Anna Jean Mulligan, Bryan Buckley, and 3 grand-daughters.
Uncle Ron will be missed by his niece, nephews, a great nephew, many cousins and his Aunt Marylyn Champagne and Uncles, Joe Hamel and Ken Nierenhausen. He also leaves a wide circle of great friends, co-workers, and the neighbours in Parkway Park, Ottawa.
Special thanks are extended to the Mothers of their children, Dr. Fawzi Mankal who took time to set Ron on a path of hope and health, the Ottawa Heart Institute, Queensway Carleton Hospital and Mr. John Kinney.
A graveside ceremony of burial, followed by a Celebration of Life and reception will take place on June 11, 2022 in Carp Ontario. Interim, Donations to the Ottawa Humane Society , the Ottawa Heart Institute or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the families.
