Ronald David Page – Obituary

Ron passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Faith Manor, Holland Christian Homes, Brampton, Ontario. He will be missed by his loving wife, Bette Page, his sister Diana and his son, Tim Page, his daughters, Kimora Page (Brock), Shelley Ampah (Mark), and Pamela Page (Sasan), grandsons Trevor, Darren (1st great- grandchild Piper), and Cameron Page, Breton (Aimee), Calan and Lucas Hamilton, Oko and his only grand-daughter, Akwele Ampah and his little dog, Dobby. He will also be remembered by other extended family and friends from near and far.

Ron was a devoted and loving husband to Bette (63 years of marriage). He loved to travel, was a published author of 5 aeronautical books, a historian of the Avro Arrow, an artist and was a huge fan of Grand Prix auto racing. He was a man, always in the driver’s seat on the ground or in the air. He lived life on his own terms and enjoyed his scotch and drambuie (a rusty nail). We will miss Ron’s rye sense of humour.

At Ron’s request he will be cremated. There will be no formal service. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held by the family at a later date. We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Faith Manor, Holland Christian Homes of Brampton, Ontario for Ron’s care and comfort since June of last year.
