Roy (Rosy) John Anderson

Peacefully at the age of 76 with family by his side on March 22, 2024, Rosy passed away.  Beloved husband of 53 years to Nicky (née Chapman). Proud and loving father to his 2 daughters; Jo-Anne Anderson (Dany Nadeau) & Lynn Yorke (Blair).  Dearest Grumpa to Donovan, Mackenzey, Scott, Nathan, Lawson, Jack & Addison.  Dear brother to Elizabeth Eyamie (Lloyd) and David (Janice).  Predeceased by his parents Lilian and Gordon and his twin brothers Ron and Bob.  He was also a cherished brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, and friend.  

Rosy was a dedicated Legion member throughout his life as well as a volunteer fireman and community member in Morewood, Ontario where he resided.  His passions and hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping, cooking and travelling.  
 
We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and doctors on the Oncology floor at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus for taking such good care of him during the last weeks leading up to his passing.
 

Friends and family can join as we celebrate his beautiful life at the Royal Canada Legion – Branch 480 at 389 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday April 28^th at 1pm.
