Ruby May Young

Peacefully on July 12, 2024, Ruby Young (Snider) passed away at the age of 88. Mother of Sandra Yenson (Robert), Tim Snider (Fran), Perry Snider (Pam), Gary Snider (Lena), Brian Snider (Nora). Predeceased by Glen (Corky). Grandmother to Amanda, Heidi, Alexandra, Tina, and Brent. Predeceased by grandchildren Jason Yenson and Tasha Snider.

Predeceased by parents Grace (Moodie) and Walter Young; sister Shirley Olsen (Don), and brothers Doug Young (Vivian) and Reg Young (Shirley). Survived by siblings: Betty Tighe (Marvin), Bessie Howard (Roy), Dorothy Eberle (Del), June Vaughn (Ken), and Beverley Young. 

Survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruby loved getting together with family and friends, singing country music, and having a few good laughs. She was a generous person who gave from the heart. She will be dearly missed. Many thanks to her sister Beverley for always being there and for loving Ruby as she was.

To comply with Ruby’s final wishes, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place, and her ashes will rest at Pinecrest Cemetery.
