Ruth Helena (Simpson) Ash

We are all saddened by the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, sister, nanny and Aunt .

Ruth Helena Ash Nee Simpson was born January 17,1959 in England. She emigrated to Canada with her parents, Ron Simpson and Kathleen Simpson nee Hughes and her sister Helen when she was 3. Ruth leaves behind her loving husband William Ralph Ash, Children Megan Sarah Mackenzie, Kelley Christine Wilkey, Timothy Ryan Ash, Isaac Benjamin Ash, Lauren Elizabeth Ash, Mackenzie Rebecca Ash and Devon Wyatt Ash, and grandchildren Windrim, Lincoln, Landon and Emily all of whom will miss her deeply. She is survived by her sister Helen Hamzavi-Zharghani, niece Nikki Crowder, nephew Danny Crowder of BC and nephew Steven Crowder of Australia. Ruth loved her pets and has had many over the years. She loved to Knit and Crochet and started up a knitting club at the Barrie Public Library. Friends may call at Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices-Jennett Memorial Centre 152 Bradford St. Barrie on Sunday from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm.
