Sample Obituary

Our staff can create and customize your obituary page. You may further personalize the page by submitting your own photos to us for the main photo. With this information, we will design an obituary page and send you a link to share with others. Should you wish to make future changes, simply reach out to us by email or phone. You and others will always be able to add photos and messages to the Tribute Wall but will not be able to edit the main text without our help.

Public Guestbook and Tribute Wall: Allows visitors to leave public condolences and upload additional photos or videos to the Tribute Wall gallery. If you wish, we can enable automatic email notifications when a new post is made.

Service Details: Can be used to announce visitations, funeral services, receptions, or gatherings of any kind. It will provide dates, times, and directions to the venue for guests, and offers the opportunity to have flowers delivered directly to the venue. There is the option to order flowers built into the website, from which we receive a small commission.

Donations: If a specific charity is requested, we can allow easy access for visitors to donate in memory of those we have lost, right from the obituary page.

Many find writing an obituary a challenge. We are here to help inspire you and your family to put together a memorable tribute that is reflective of your loved one. We recommend reviewing the following information to get you started with writing a comforting obituary. It can be as simple or as creative as you'd like.

• Place of death
• Cause of death
• Names and relationships of survivors

Additional Personal Information: Families may wish to include more personal details for a creative obituary that truly reflects their loved one, such as:

• Thank you to individuals, groups, or institutions
• Charitable/cultural/religious/political affiliations and/or positions
• Names of friends
• Names of pets (if relevant)
• Interests
• Favourite music, books, movies

Please feel free to submit 25-40 photos for a complimentary Memorial Tribute Video. You are welcome to upload them via a link provided by our staff. We also recommend selecting 1-2 photos as the feature photo(s) on the obituary page.
