SMITH, Sharon Lea (Dunne)

It is with our deepest sadness that we share the sudden passing of Sharon Lea Smith on May 11, 2017. She passed away peacefully at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga, in her 72nd year, surrounded by her loving family. She was Percy Smith's devoted wife of 50 years and beloved mother of Terry (Brenda), Gary (Deanne) and Steven. She was a caring and affectionate grandmother to Alicia Ryzebol (Sidney), Matthew, Ryan, Madison and Mackenzie, and doting great-grandmother to her sweet, little Oliver Ryzebol. Sharon was predeceased by her mother and father, Elizabeth and John Dunne. She will be sadly missed by her sister Nancy Paulitzki (John), her brother John Dunne (Valerie) and her sister-in-law Diane Molnar (John). She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Tammy, John Jr., Jason, Adam, Michael, Cathy and Lisa.
Sharon loved to travel to the Caribbean with family and she enjoyed her weekly bingo games. She was always quick to offer a helping hand to her neighbours, and she looked forward to spending time with friends each day.
The family has chosen to keep the services intimate and private, as per Sharon's request.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
