Sheila Dawn Gillespie-Dunnigan

Sheila Dawn Gillespie-Dunnigan, 49 of Ottawa, Ontario, passed over on August 26, 2021. She was born on May 14, 1972, in Renous, New Brunswick. Sheila was the eldest daughter of Cavan and the late Emma (Tucker) Gillespie. She grew up with her amazing sister, Sherry and little brother, Cavan (Jr), playing cars in the sand and driving minibikes.

Moving on Sheila met the love of her life at The Whiskey Creek Saloon in Banff, Alberta. A handsome Ontario man with AMAZING shoulders, her husband, Greg Dunnigan. They soon moved to Ottawa and as the years march on they add a beautiful boy to their family.  Sean, the sweetest little frog catcher ever and their pride and joy.

As a family, memories and lifelong friends were made through work and camping. Her Mal’s camping family, that she loves, will miss her forever.

Sheila has a special bond with her mother-in-law, Donna and will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews.

Sheila is the dog mom of Max. He captured her heart from the moment she laid eyes on him and completes this family. He will truly miss his Mom.

A celebration of love and life will be held at their lake home at 127 Montgomery Park Rd, Carleton Place, Ontario on September 4th at 3:00 pm. Here, her many friends and family will remember and cherish "Our Sheila".
