SYER, Sheila Elsie Rose Passed away peacefully at Hamilton Continuing Care on November 18, 2016 in her 91st year. Predeceased by both parents, Daisy & Walter Fralick, her loving husband James Bolton Syer, sister Evelyn Hay and brothers Ray & Harold Fralick. Beloved mother of Janice Hunks (Phil), Mike Syer and step-mother of Joan Fitzpatrick, Carol Syer. She will be missed by her brother, Don Fralick (Joan). Caring sister-in-law to Grace and proud grandmother of James, Lindsay, Katie, Alex, Gary, Tim, and Sandy. She will also be missed by her five great grandchildren.
Sheila always exuded a kind and giving spirit throughout her life. To honor Sheila, a celebration of life is scheduled to take place at a later date. Cremation has already proceeded per Sheila’s wishes. The family would like to thank friends and family for their kind words and their loving support. In lieu of donation, the family requests that anyone wishing to express condolence instead enact a random act of kindness in Sheila’s honour.
