Shirley Burelle (Martin)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Burelle (Martin), on January 13th 2024 in Cornwall, Ontario at the age of 74 at the Cornwall Community Hospital.

Daughter of the late Ernest and Emma (Brown) Martin. Beloved wife of the late Richard Burelle. Loving mother of Helene and Andre(Julie). Cherished sister of Paulette Delorme, Leona Martin, Irene Seguin, Agnes Paquette (Ronald), Denise Kitts (Kevin), Yvette Farlinger (Ian), J.P. Martin and predeceased by siblings: Theresa Lauzon, Gerald Martin, Roger Martin, Rene Martin, Florence Martin, Yvonne Hyde, Edward Martin and Albert Martin.

Loved by her many brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, nieces, nephews and all who knew her.

Shirley loved her family and friends. She always thought of others before herself. Her favorite response to the question “how are you doing?” was and will forever be “I’m fine, I’m fine”.She was an avid reader and loved to watch her soap operas.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be heldon January 27th, 2024 at the Moose Lodge at 443 Eleventh St W Cornwall, Ontario from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Everyone welcome.
