Shirley Georgine Moffatt

Shirley Georgine Moffatt nee Jenkins passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Toronto surrounded by her loved ones. Shirley knit and crocheted for most of her 81 years gifting her crafts to family, strangers and lots of babies born at SunnyBrooke and St Michael’s hospital. She was an avid volunteer at the Toronto Humane Society as well as SunnyBrooke gift shop before her retirement.

Shirley is predeceased by the love of her life Robert “Bobby” Moffatt. An interment will take place on Monday December 5th at 12pm at Sanctuary Park - Section C (1570 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9P 3C4). Special thanks to Marianne of the Knitting Guild, Dr. Jay Moss of SunnyBrooke Hospital and Rekai Centre Sherbourne Place for honouring my mother with love and respect till the end.

Shirley leaves behind son Gregory Allan Moffatt, daughter Rhonda Ellen Moffatt, son-in-law Blair Hennessy  and two grandchildren Samantha and Cory Hennessy who will hold her forever in their hearts ❤️
