Shirley (Daigneau) Samardak

Shirley found peace on December 10, 2021. Born January 16, 1938 in Toronto, Ontario, Shirley was the daughter of the late Renee and Theodore Daigneau.  Shirley was the beloved mother of Paula and adoring grandmother to Kris and Beau.

Shirley loved singing and had a lovely voice.  She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and she loved to dance.  In her youth, she enjoyed horseback riding in the Don and loved roller skating down at the Mutual Street Arena.

Shirley spent most of her years working as a Secretary but her real passion was helping children.  Later in life, she returned to school and obtained a diploma to work as a child and youth care worker. Shirley also volunteered as a Probation Officer for youth.

The family will hold a small private gathering.  No funeral services will take place.
