We mournfully announce the passing of Sofronio Pablo Bautista of Toronto, Ontario Canada on 12:03pm of January 18, 2021. He was 95 years old at the time of his passing but was able to celebrate his 95th birthday with his dearest loved ones.
Sofronio was born on December 8, 1925 to Antonia Pablo and Pedro Bautista, and had 5 siblings. He was married to Carolina A. Bautista for which he had spent 54 wonderful and happy years of his life. Sofronio is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Carolina.
He worked as a Financial Budget officer in the Philippines and volunteered in Canada. He was a committed member of the church and the Focolare movement.
He enjoyed his life to the fullest and was always the first one to lend a helping hand. He never forgot to leave the house without a hat on and had the biggest smile from cheek to cheek. He pursued whatever he wanted and achieved it and used it to continue helping others.
Even after his retirement, he was generous, loving and supporting towards his family and grandchildren which remained the focus of his life. He was the kindest, loving father to his daughter and grandfather to his grandchildren anyone can ever ask for. He is irreplaceable and will remain forever in our heart.
Forever he will be missed by all of his family and friends and everyone that he has showered with kindness. His presence will be missed but his legacy will continue through his family. We love him very much and our hearts ache as he is not here anymore. We are joyous that he is reunited with his wife, our mom and grandmother Carol. Finally, they can be together as they had promised on their wedding day.
Sofronio Bautista was
predeceased by his
wife Carolina A. Bautista and he is survived by his daughter Vienna Bautista and grandchildren – Jessica Bautista & Jacqueline Bautista and (spouse) Krzysztof Marjuszycz.
