Sophia Daskalakis

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sophia Daskalakis on April 13, 2025, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed peacefully surrounded by the love and warmth of those closest to her. She is survived by her loving husband Micheal, her children Savvas (Sonia) and Dimitra, and her grandchildren Michael, Alexis, Andrea and Michael.

Sophia’s life will be fondly remembered as one filled with love, generosity, kindness, forgiveness and a deep love for taking care of her family. She could always be found cooking away in the kitchen, taking care of her home and working outside in the garden always making sure everyone was always comfortable and well fed while visiting her. She was the heart and backbone of her family and will be immensely missed by all.
