Spiros Ekonomakos

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Spiros Ekonomakos on April 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Born on August 15, 1944, in Sparta Greece he immigrated to Toronto, Ontario in 1958. 

A hardworking, single father who was a hockey, baseball, and Western tv/movie enthusiast. He is survived by his children, Maria Flemming (Rob) and John Ekonomakos; his cherished grandchildren, Zoey and Georgia Flemming; his beloved brothers and sisters, Eric Ekonomakos, Helen Kotsias, Gus Ekonomakos (Olga), Lillian Orfanakos, Bill Ekonomakos (Rena), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, John & Maria Ekonomakos.

His kindness, generosity, and love for his family will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
