Stephen Anthony Harper

Stephen (Steve) Anthony Harper passed away peacefully at his camp trailer in Bourget, Ontario on July 14, 2017 at the age of 71.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Susan Harper, and is survived by his children, Samantha, Sabrina, Robin (Shilan), as well as his sister, Marilyn.
Steve was born on January 6, 1946 in Liverpool, England and immigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada with his family when he was a young boy. Throughout his life he worked in many different fields such as the Coast Guard, A&W, IBM, G.E., and Canada Post to name a few, but his passion for computers and electronics was always present. This led him to Ottawa to work for Health Canada, retiring as an agent for the Radiation Protection Bureau.
A gathering has been organized in his memory at Summerhays Bar & Grill at 1971 Baseline Road Ottawa, Ontario on August 3rd, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Memorial Donations in Steve’s name may be made to Parents and Researchers Interested in Smith�'Magenis Syndrome (PRISMS) in light of his daughter's (Sabrina) condition.
