Stephen Howard

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Howard, who passed away on October 18, 2024, in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 70. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on June 1, 1954, to Rhoda and Edward Howard, Steve grew up in a close-knit family and cherished his Maritime roots.

Steve was a loving husband to his wife, Cathy, and a dedicated father to his two sons, Christopher and Gregory. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather, and his grandchildren, Brandon, Wesley, Hazel, and Violet, will miss him dearly. He was a cherished brother to his three sisters, Sharon, Linda, and Brenda, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Known for his warmth, humour, and unwavering kindness, Steve touched the lives of all who knew him. His love for his family was the foundation of his life, and he will be remembered for his selflessness, his laughter, and the love he shared so freely.

Steve’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. 

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
