Stephen (AKA Steve) John Atkins

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Steven Atkins after a brief illness on December 16th 2020.
Steve was a Welder Pipe Fitter by trade and proud member of the 527 He was an avid pilot, hunter, wild life photographer and conservationists spending a lot of his time tracking the Peregrine Falcons of the Ambassador Bridge. Steve is survived by his two daughters Dianna Atkins and her husband Jody Pescod, their two children Taylor and Ryan; Kathy Kozak and her husband John, their three children Chardon, Camaron and Emily. Predeceased by his mother Denis Pageau, Step Father Ted Pageau and his sister Cathy Roach. Steve will be missed by his Nephews and Nieces Daniel Roach, Stephen Roach, Erin Docherty. Robert Wood, Alexander Wood, Kris Wood. A very special thank you to the Doctors and nurses and the ICU Staff at Windsor Region Hospital ( Met Campus) for your excellent care, kindness and compassion during these challenging times. As per his wishes there will be no service. A memorial bench will be placed in his honour at the river a later date.  In leu of flowers a donation can be made to the Canadian Raptor Conservatory.
