Steve had a passion for food; his favourite restaurant was Swiss Pigeon (Swiss Chalet). He enjoyed the Blue Blood Steakhouse, and most didn’t know this, but he enjoyed going to the ballet. What truly brought him joy were the bike rides on his Harley that he shared with his closest friends. He often rode to Wasaga Beach and Port Dover on Friday the 13th.
He created memories at birthdays, Christmas, and weddings, memories that would last a lifetime with his family.
In his professional life, Steve was proud of his career as a millwright, always speaking about his trade with confidence and enthusiasm. He worked at the bakery for over 20 years.
He is a beloved figure within his family and by his friends, cherished by his daughter Savannah (Dustin), his grandson Tristin, stepfather to Jason, and adored by his sisters Sue (Jim) and Caroline and Cindy (Bruce).
A beloved uncle to Brittany (Jack), Amanda (David), Eric (Abbey), and Jesse. Great Uncle to Oliver and Samir.
He loved his dogs very much. Bob, Squirt, and Bear. For many years they were what brought him joy.
Steve was a spirited man with a zest for life. He left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. When you needed him, he was always there.
He taught us how to be tough and strong but soft at times when we needed to be. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy, and his actions spoke louder than words. Steve will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
