Sue Sarah (Klein) Caplan McLaughlan

Sue Sarah Caplan McLaughlan (nee Klein) - beloved mother of Kinneret Haimes, grandmother of Jordana Globerman (Sean) and Benjamin Globerman (Kerry), great-grandmother of Eden, Isaac and Ari - passed away peacefully August 31 at 3:10AM. Many thanks to the tireless PSWs of 3 West Hillel Lodge, and to caregiver extraordinaire Thom Birkhan and his assistants Jo and Darlene. Sue loved life, wintering down south, entertaining, and always with a martini in hand. She was a fighter, overcoming cancer at 70, cellulitis at 90. We were lucky to have her to love all these 97 years. As she loved to say, "the greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return." Donations can be made to Jewish Family Services Senior Unit or Hillel Lodge. In lieu of funeral, shiva to be held at Kinneret's home, Friday September 1st, from 1PM-6PM.
