It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Mary Charron on December 22, 2020. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on Christmas Day 1945, Susan was the daughter of the late Gladys and Alan Fournier.
Susan is survived by her loving husband George; her four children, Robert (Natalie), Christine, Greg (Janine) and Bryan (Nancie); her eight grandchildren, Madex, Logan, Jordan, Brooklyn, Bianca, Preston, Sally, and George; and her loyal Boxer, Cori. She is also survived by her sisters Ruth Fournier and Ann Meelker (Fred), and brothers Christopher Fournier (Liz), Alan Fournier, and Mark Fournier (Debbie); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her brothers, Tommy Fournier and Robert Fournier. Good friend to Francis Ann Gilroy, Eleanor Carroll, Mary Ellen Henniger, and Lorraine Walton.
Susan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. “Gramma Sue” made the best spaghetti sauce and could cook a prime rib dinner to perfection. She loved getting behind the wheel of her motorhome and making new friends wherever her travels took her. Her love for breeding Boxers over the years provided many homes with a loyal family member. She would never pass up a good celebration or chance to be surrounded by family and friends.
Even though she has left this world, she will forever live on in the hearts of all those who knew her. She is and always will be greatly missed as she goes on to the next big party.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
