Svetozar (Robert) Krasic

Svetozar Krasic “Robert”, 77, of Crystal Beach, Ontario, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 surrounded by loved ones after his long battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Robert was born on November 1, 1945 in Belgrade, Serbia to Nikola and Vidosava Krasic. Robert could accomplish anything he set his mind to, a true outdoors man and a lover of nature. Robert spent over 50 years as a well-known hairstylist, having practiced hairdressing in Serbia, England, Canada and the United States.

Robert met Shirley “Marlene” (nee. Braisby) in Ontario, Canada. Robert and Marlene spent many wonderful years together making the best memories.

Robert had many hobbies and activaties he enjoyed such as travelling with Marlene and his family, spending time with his grandchildren, working on the hobby farm, horseback riding, boating, golfing, hunting, fishing, birdwatching and so much more.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene of Georgetown, Ontario. His children, Ryan Allain (Ivana) of London, England, Shannon King (Gary) of Ocala, Florida. His grandchildren, Autumn Small (Steven), Stone King, Cullen Allain, Meadow King, Devin Allain and Cora Krasic.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Nikola and Vidosava (nee. Stojanovic) Krasic and his oldest son Mark Krasic.

Roberts Celebration of Life will be held at St. James and St. Brendan Church in Port Colborne, Ontario on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Visitation will start at 12 pm, there will be a reception following in the Guild Hall starting at 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Fund .
