Sylvia Jean Byrne

Sylvia J. Pottle (Byrne) was born in Bell Island, NL and moved to Ontario when she was 23 years old. Sylvia’s personality was happy/jolly even at the worst of her health. She would always say something funny just to make you laugh. Mom was beautiful, sweet, kind, gentle and she loved life and loved her oldest son Augustus for taking great care of her as her care giver. Sylvia Jean Pottle (Byrne), (Mom) loved to play Poker games on the PS3, PS4 System, she was a great player. Sylvia & I (Augustus) would stay up watching movies all night. Mom loved movies and music as well as all animals especially cats. We owned 4 cats, now own one named “Rex”. Mom also loves all children, that’s just the type of mother she was. She is survived by her six children, sons Augustus, Jason, Peter and daughters Tanya, Tracey, Darlene. Although she was closer to her boys than her daughters she still loved them all the same. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, two from each daughter. She never really got a chance to know them well. Partly do to her health and a misunderstanding/ communication with her daughters. Sylvia is also survived by her Sister’s Joan, Linda, Gale, Caroll who she loves very much. When she was in better health, she would call them, talking for hours. She loved life and loved her oldest son Augustus for taking great care of her as her care giver. She passed away peacefully on Jan 06, 2018. She will be deeply missed, from all who knew her, especially her older son Augustus Frost who lived with her for 21 years. I will deeply miss you, you will be in my heart forever. R.I.P. no more aches, pain & suffering now you can rest mom. from your loving son Augustus.
