Terence Freeman

Mr. Terence "Terry" Freeman died peacefully in Brantford Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 2nd at the age of 80. Terry is survived by his wife, Margaret Freeman; children, Suzanne Barrett, Stephanie Willan and Gary Freeman; Grandchildren, Michael Evans and Emily Freeman, Great-grandchildren, Madison Barrett and Kaiya Evans. Through most of his life, Terry was accomplished at Structural Engineering, particularly with Scaffolding, but most notably, introducing safety standards to a growing industry. He was a witty and charming leader who made it his mission to put a smile on everyone's face. Terry's demeanor demanded integrity and he mentored everyone to find their true potential. A memorial service is scheduled to celebrate Terry's life on Friday, March 9th, 2018 begining at 2:00pm at St. Paul's United Church, 48 Broadway Street West, Paris, Ontario, N3L 2S5. A reception will follow at the same location. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry's life. The family would also like to recognize all of the tireless effort and care Terry received from many organizations (Brantford Memorial Hospital, Brant Community Healthcare System, The Willett Hospital, CCAC, Alzheimers Association, Artsy Program) and the detailed care he received from all of the Personal Support Workers (PSWs) that came daily to tend to his needs. Without their assistance and devotion, the family would not have been able to navigate this rather difficult journey.
