Thompson, Terence (Terry)

Passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday May 10, 2017 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Winifred. Beloved father of Grant (Jane) and Sue Nelson (Brian). Proud Grandad of Alex, Dana and Christopher. Terry was a wonderful husband, father, grandad and friend who will be greatly missed. As a member of the New Hamburg Legion Branch 532 for 40+ years he enjoyed the friendships cultivated, social activities and the opportunities to contribute to the community. Terry became an avid golfer and was playing until the end of the 2016 season. Terry was well respected among his work colleagues and achieved a level of success that provided for a good life which has given family and friends the gift of many lasting memories.

Many thanks to our special friend, Elizabeth Bailey, for her steadfast support during this time. Also, thanks to the staff of Kingston General Hospital and specially to the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and their Cardiac Care Program.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service arrangements to be determined.
