Terrence Joseph O'Rourke

It is with heavy hearts, the family announces that Terrence (Terry) O’Rourke passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Renfrew Hospice on Thursday evening October 14, 2021. Terry was 73 years of age. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dearly loved and devoted father of Kelly (Josh Theros), Kerri, Terri (Jamie) Thompson, Dave Wallace (Daisy Gonzales Rumbaoa). Cherished grandfather of Heidi Schwartz and Tanner Thompson.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Phyllis O’Rourke, sister Connie May and brother Wayne. He is survived by his brother Stirling (Annlea) O’Rourke and several nieces and nephews.

Terry was born in Hull, Quebec and raised in Chelsea, Quebec. He spent his last years working with the Ottawa Paramedic Service until he retired in 2018. He loved working on cars, doing home renovations and watching NASCAR and HGTV. You would always find him in his favourite spot, the garage. The family would like to thank the Renfrew Hospice and staff for their professionalism and compassionate care. It was greatly appreciated as we witnessed his transition from this world to a better one in great peace.
