Terry Robert Mitchell

It's with immense sadness and shattered, heavy hearts that we must announce the sudden passing of Terry Mitchell, age 63, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Brampton, Ontario. Terry was our beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, Cousin, and dearest Friend. He is survived and will be forever missed by his cherished wife of 37 years Kathleen (Kal) Mitchell (nee Dopler), his pride and joy was his beloved son Dale (Cindy) Mitchell and his granddaughters Lily and Lindsay.  He also leaves behind his brothers Darren (Esther) Mitchell, and Wade Mitchell, his sisters Gena (Dennis) Murray, Karen (Darryl) Slade, Allison Mitchell, and Lori Ann (Ian) McNabb, as well as a great number of other family and friends whose lives he enriched. Preceded in death by his mom and dad, Bob and Jean (Saunders) Mitchell, and his brothers, Dale and Otto Mitchell. Terry will always be fondly remembered for his warm and friendly smile, his calm and easy manner, his quick and hearty laugh, his amazing BBQs and smoked briskets, his love of a fine cigar, and his enjoyment of fine wine, aged whiskey, and really good tequila. With those cherished memories he will continue forever in our minds, he will be forever in our hearts, and forever in our souls, till we meet again.

Terry wasn't very fond of dressing up, and actually really did not like it at all, so please, come to the service wearing what you find most comfortable. If that's jeans and a t-shirt, or if it’s a suit and tie, whatever you're truly comfortable in, that's what Terry would want.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your preferred charity and raise a glass.  It could be a nice rich Cabernet Sauvignon, a tumbler of smooth, aged whiskey, or a shot of your favorite tequila (or all of the above), and if you enjoy it, smoke a cigar in his honor.

This service will be live streamed for those of you that cannot attend and wish to participate and a link will be provided before the service starts.
